It doesn't get any better than this! The children (disciples-in-training) at Spruce Pine United Methodist Church lay hands on me and pray during the re-commissioning ceremony.

- I serve as facilitator of the "DiscipleMen" bible study group at my church, Spruce Pine United Methodist Church, Spruce Pine, North Carolina. This group meets every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. I also serve as co-facilitator of the "Men on a Mission" bible study group that meets every Tuesday morning at 7:30 in the back room at DT's Blue Ridge Java, 169 Locust St., Spruce Pine. I am certified as a Men's Ministry Specialist in the United Methodist Church and serve as the Marion District United Methodist Men's president. I'm also a lay speaker and preach occasionally. I am a member of www.disciplemen.com. I write a column called "Helping Hands" for the Blue Ridge Christian News. I am married to a wonderful wife and registered nurse, Marie, and have a son and a daughter and 3 grandboys. I own and operate the Pack & Ship Center, a UPS and FedEx shipping store and U-Haul dealer.
